To be FAIR – should a participant be part of a judges dance studio, the specific judge will not be
allowed to mark the participating dancer / group. The other judges will mark the participating
dancer / group. This is to make it fair to all participating dancers / groups. |

- Solo Divine: Modern Belly Dance (Egyptian, Turkish or Fusion)
- Veil / Wings performance (single, double veil or multiple veil, wings of isis or silk fans)
- Folkloric performance (Saidi cane, Sagat or traditional folk – Melaya Lef, Beladi, Samaai, Classical folklore, Gypsy or Khaleegy)
- Divine Drum Solo
- Balancing (sword, shamidaan, tray balancing includes floorwork)
- Tribal (Fusion or ATS)

DUO / GROUP PERFORMANCES HAS 6 CATEGORIES FOR

| THE OVERALL WINNER – TO BE CROWNED MISS BELLY DANCE SOUTH AFRICA®™, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO DO 1 ROUTINE WHICH INCLUDES: |
- Veil / Wings performance (single, double veil or multiple veil, wings of isis or silk fans)
- Drum solo
- Sagat
- Own Interpretation
*You are required to show us all your skills within the 6 – 7 minute routine (does not have to follow the order stipulated)
